When I was young, (really young, very young) I loved to draw, I used to draw or should I say copy, I used to copy the drawing of Chinese arts and became quite good at it. Years passed... I was busy with bringing up the kids, life was not easy and I stop drawing. Now that I have all the times in the world but no time for drawing again because of the travelling.

Last month I attended a beginner's course in Kedah and had the opportunity to hold the brushes again. It was fun and interesting but I realized that I am not gifted. I can copy but I have no imagination and not talented at all. :-(

Happy wedding anniversary !

Khong and Aik Kean's house in Shenzhen. The house was big,(easily put in all seven of us) The cook is better then any cook you can find in any 5 stars hotel. We had the best tour guide (my cousin Boo Cheok). It was the best tour we ever had.

I remember last year this time, we were in Langkawi celebrated Kiyu and Bee Lee's 30th anniversary. It was on the 13th of Sept and this year we were again with them on their anniversary, except the place was Shenzhen, China.

I am sure Kiyu is making sure that this time next year, he would not let us know where he is taking her ! (After all, we talk non stop and it is a waste of money to go so far to talk, we could easily talk back home). Hehehe ! sorry la, we too know that you are taking her to UK and then US !! you think you can run away from us sisters?

Oh ye the curious one !

Oh ye the curious one !

Have you heard of "curiosity killed the cat" ? To quench you thirst of curiosity, I shall read to you the following quotation

I am that bird who is entrapped in the mesh of its desire and powerless to shake off the burden. To put the long story short.. I am still single, alone and happy although missing my children and grandchildren like hell some times.

All of you the "K-poh" who think you are Chong. Nothing happen. Are you happy now ?

Where am I now?

To all my dearest one,

In case you don't know where I am and what I am doing now...I am in Macau and staying with uncle Kong and family.

I was traveling in China for the past one week, first to visit aunty Gerda in Zhuhai, then to Guangzhou and took a train to Kunming and it was 25 hour ride. Had fun with friends in Kunming but did not do much sight seeing. Only meeting up with friends. Prema, do you remember Hilary ? she got married to Charles Duncan who is over 90 year old and a Knight too. He still cycle all over Kunming teaching in the study circle. We had English corner by the famous lake.

Came back to Zhuhai on the 2nd and spent some time with Gerda's family and this morning I crossed over to Macau and will pick up all the sisters tomorrow at the airport. All of us are going to Guiling and Yangshou for a tour, then to Shenzhen.

Will keep you inform of where I am whenever I have a chance but I know the meaning of "out of sight, out of mind" and I am sure you don't miss me as much as I miss you :-(
