Can an individual transform society ?

The sky in Cambodia is always very beautiful. I suppose it's because there is no heavy industry and this place is still not polluted yet.

This was how the side and the front of the school looked like.

It is rainy season now and every time it rains, I panic because of the flood.

I tried to turn the side of the school into a garden so that people would respect the place and not simply throw rubbish.

Lino, a Philippino friend helped me to get the garden started.

Here everything is DIY. This is Prema fixing the wire for our internet connection.

One morning we found this at the garden, still alive. I put it in a glass bottle hoping to show the kids in the school but forgot about it until much later, by then we had lost the bottle already.

My humble attempt at planting papaya trees and lemongrass. :-)

Phin (one of Gems' teachers) got into the excitement and brought me 3 banana plants, too.

My garden....... two weeks later.

Flowers from the plants that Prema bought for me. Smells like jasmine but milder.

Prema put up a sign saying " Thank you for keeping the place clean "

A recycling plant just two block from the school.

Unfortunately now the rubbish all gone to the building opposite our school.
