I am sure everyone of you have encounter this when you call your credit card company. It starts like this and this is how I started my day today.

"Hello, thank you for calling xxx bank, please press 1 for English,2 for Malay, 3 for Chinese" so you press 1

"For credit card enquiry please press 1, banking enquiry press 2" so you press 1

"For statement, .... press 1, for redemption press 2, for ....press 3 for ..... press 4.... for ..... press 5, to speak to our customer service officer press 0" so you press 0.

"For faster service press you 16 digit credit card number. if you don't know the number, please wait for the officer" so you key in your 16 digit number.

"Please key in you telephone PIN if you have, if not, our officer will attend to you shortly" Ok, key in you PIN.

"Good morning, thank you for calling xxxx bank, this is xxxx speaking (it is so fast that most the time I could not catch their names) how may I help you?"

You tell your problem, you shout, you let go of you frustration, and you can use any abusive words (I don't do that okay, I am a cultured and civilized people). They will just so sweetly (they may be showing me their third finger) , say thank you for calling and you have a nice day. Your problem still not solve,, they still don't call you back and you carry on you day with tensed shoulder, headache and frustration and how can the day be nice ?????

I know it is not their fault , they are programmed to talk like that and not to solve your problem, it is the system that calculate your finance charge after all, not them. I told her, the company is worst then "tai yee Loong" ans she so sweetly answer "yes" I GIVE UP !!!!

If Fay knows about this she is going to say " Mummy, forget it "

My third finger

It is a joke among my sisters that all of us have ugly hands and fingers, we used to compare and see whose is the ugliest. No one can compare with mine right now.

Dr. Teh said it is fungus infection but it has lasted more than two months and it became worst lately after I tried all the grandmother's remedies Last night aunty Sharon called and ask me to add kunit (turmeric) with salt and apply on it. I tried and now my finger nail is yellow ! and the pain and pus still there.

Any one out there has any more suggestion or remedy?

I tried writing to citibank the whole day yesterday but was interupted by phonecalls and visitors and cleaners, so I woke up at 3am and now it is 4.30am, my blood pressure shot up, I am angry, just call citi bank and shouted at the poor girl who mended the phone. I tried writing to them four times but each time I pressed the sent button, it said your login time is out. I think if the CEO of citibank is here, I would kill him too.

It all started two months ago, I was charged RM767/- for spype europe that did not belong to me. Since then I have paid fullpayment, faxed them the dispute form, called them many times regarding this and being assured by them that they are looking into it. Last week when I check my e-statement, I was charged rm 36/- for finance charge ! If I rememebr correctely, I alway pay full and in time. So I wrote them an email asking about the above two matters.

The reply is... When is the dispute, when did I faxed the form, what number did I faxed to and they did not received my BLOODY FORM (you shock? first time using this word, I was shock too) I can't even find the bloody form anymore !!!!

As regards to the RM36/- of finance charge... I shortpaid them by RM222/- for the month of June. Can you believe it. After being their faithful customer for more then 10 years and average of RMxxxxxK a month, and they are charging the 36/- for the different of RM200 I think the loan shark is cheaper !

The whole problem is we need the card and we can not live without it ! SAD right?

Don't worry, I am still alive, and it set me thinking, what if I die now ? Alone, the alarm is on, by the time they find my body, it will be smelly and rotten.....yak....I want to die young and beautiful.. not like that, die of anger.

Path of service

My sister, Monica found her path of service. She has been going to this home for years, taking care of those who are abandoned by their family because they were born abnormal. Lately she has been inviting me to go with her and I found that life is very fulfilling just by helping her and I should thank her for giving me this opportunity to serve too. Janet has been here for years and never talk, you should see her face when she see Monica, she would rush to hug and kiss her.

My friend , Ming

My friend, Ming. I met her in the quilt making group two months ago in Pearl's house. She is warm, friendly, easy going,and she is just like everyone in our ROWSI group (retire old women sewing in) we are passionate about quilt making.

One day I over heard her conversation with her hunsband, saying that their house is rented out and I could not believe my ear when I heard the rental.... it is RM51,ooo/- a month. Right ! I know how to write 51K, I did not accidently put an extra zero at the back.

We decided to have our weekly class in her house since Pearl's house is under renovation...(I don't undertand them, the house is like a grand palace and yet still need to renovate). This time I made sure that I took my camera along.
