Chong Clan - reunion
My grandparents and the family. On the left (next to my grandma) is our family and on the right is my uncle Chong Boon Chu's.
My mother has 8 daughters (one passed away at a very young age) and 3 sons. My uncle has 6 daughters and 3 sons (the competition between the two daughter-in-laws was fierce). Above are the two cousins who are closest to my age.
Descendants of Chong Boon Chu and Chong Boon Piew (my father) and their spouses.
Decendents of Chong Boon Hean, Chong Boon Hu, Chong Boon Hong, Boon Chu and Boon Piew.
Descendants of my father's sisters
Four beauties of the Chong Clan
The youngest of Boon Chu met the eldest of Boon Piew
He is the most generous of the Chong's clan
My grandfather, Chong Kheng Liat came from China. He brought along his two sons, Chong Boon Piew (my father) and Chong Boon Chu, as well as two daughters. He also brought with him the children of 2 of his brothers... Chong Boon Hean & siblings (of one brother) and Chong Boon Hu and siblings (of another brother).
Below are some of the Chong descendants, some from Boon Hu's, some from Boon Hean's but most of the people in the photos are my first cousins. Either from Chong Boon Chu or my father's sisters.
I wish we have more of these reunions. While all of my father's generations have their reunion in THE KINGDOM, my generation is slowly but surely going there too! And the Next Generation ? Most of them do not know each other anymore!
Anyone who would like to know more about the Chong Clan please go to facebook and look for the Chong Clan group and you shall find your relatives there.
