Do I look like one of them ?

We, all of us walked to Rathaus on the eve of my birthday, it was a very cold night , Half way to the rathaus, we stop at ' Sushi King' (Malaysian) for dinner and Mark decided to take Saloma home since she was not feeling well. We wanted to go for the Chriskindlemart but by the time we reached there, all store are closed. So instead we went to Vienna's oldest Cafe (sorry, don't even remember the name) for a cup of coffee and the famous Apple strudel. The place is GRAND and STUFFY... you can see that the old ladies are heavily makeup, sit upright and drink their coffee with style (like my pic shown)!
Anyway, to make the long story short, we will be remembered by the waiters and may be barred from entering the place again because I not only look like a kampong girl, with no makeup, simply dress and no style. I some more spilled my latte on the floor.
The next day, Zee baked a blueberries cake for me, it was DELICIOUS and CHEAP! Last night we spent EU$20/-(RM100/-) for two cups of coffee and two slices of cake ! Painful for my pocket.

My first encounter with REAL snow. (saw a bit in New Zealand-like bluff one).

It was almost 11 pm and it has been snowing the whole day, the kids are asleep, we decided to go for a walk and took the camera along. Passerby must be thinking what this stupid Chinese lady doing, the old lady is posing in the cold in the dead of the night.

Well, I had fun, the snow is soft like cotton and it covered everything. I scooped up the snow from the cars parked outside the building and held my first snowball. Best of all, I have been spending some quality time with Zena. ( we missed that when she was growing up)

I thought we just discussed my age not long ago, dear me, it was one year ago ! how times fly !

First snow

It was cold this morning and started to snow, and as you know, I got really excited and took out my NEW camera and snap away. Mark and Zena has gone to Amsterdam for holiday, I am supposed to go to Baha'i Center to celebrate the Birthday of Baha'u'llah. But how la ? I am terrified, what does one wear when it is snowing ? Zena is not here for me to ask ! Some more how to bring the two kids especially it is dark by 5pm ?

Gaia loves computer games. I got myself a 2nd hand laptop ( it was Mark, then zee then me)
Once upon a time she was very natural in front of the camera but now ? she likes to pose unless you can catch her unaware.

One Sunday spent by the sidewalk cafe drinking coffee and watching passerby, HT and me found a new toy and we sat by the cafe and play with it. two of us had lots of fun (like two small girls....laughing and giggling)
