I am a mad woman and I am glad that I am mad

July 6th 2014

It is funny, I got up from my afternoon nap, automatically reached for my Ipad, turned on the FB and right before me is the quote from Khalil Gibran's book, The Madman

" I have found both freedom and safety in my madness; the freedom of loneliness and the safety from being understood, for those who understand us enslave something in us.”
― Khalil Gibran, The Madman

As I scrolled down,  Paulo Coelho's quote was there about madness

"No life is complete without a touch of madness. "

Then I found out that my friend posted this :

" My doctor  asked if any of my family suffered from insanity, I replied, no, we all seem to enjoy it."

What is the matter? Why everyone is talking about madness?

Since I was 15 years old, I read the book by my favorite author, "Chung Yew". It says " Everyone in this world is crazy, the only different is the degree of craziness" From then on I always think of myself as a crazy woman. I am crazy of wanting to be free, I am crazy in doing what I feel like doing and I think I have succeeded!

I am single, I am lowly and I am happy! I am happy to be free and crazy!

As Abdul'Baha said " The greatest prison is the prison of SELF"

" For the first time the sun kissed my own naked face and my soul was inflamed with love for the sun, and I wanted my masks no more. And as if in a trance I cried, "Blessed, blessed are the thieves who stole my masks."
Thus I became a madman.  - Khalil Gibran -

Baha'u'llah says:

" Ye are even as the bird which soareth, with the full force of its mighty wings and with complete and joyous confidence, through the immensity of the heavens, until, impelled to satisfy its hunger, it turneth longingly to the water and clay of the earth below it....."

Thus I became a madwoman...
